About Luna Compliance
Free to use as written.
Luna Compliance is compliance software for investment advisers and private fund managers. It runs a firm's compliance program in one place: it tracks filings and recurring obligations, reviews advertisements against the SEC Marketing Rule, runs code of ethics filings, personal trade pre-clearance and the MNPI register, keeps its email archive, its Form U4 and ADV amendment log and its SEC exam workspace, and drafts the firm's policies from how it actually operates. Luna does the reading, tracking and drafting; the chief compliance officer makes every decision, and each one is recorded. Luna publishes its pricing, is free to start, and gives each firm its own separate deployment and database. Luna Compliance is a product of Imperium Advisors, LLC, based in San Francisco.

Founder

Tye Merlo founded Luna Compliance after going through SEC examinations, building compliance programs from the ground up, and buying and implementing the compliance software Luna now competes with, as the person responsible for getting the work done. Luna is the product Tye wanted to buy and couldn't: the whole program in one place, priced in public, free to start, and designed so software does the reading, tracking and drafting while a person makes every decision.
